Pressure Vessel Certification CC. was established in 2006 specializing in the inspection of Pressure Equipment during Manufacture as well as In-Service statutory inspections.


Pressure Vessel Certification CC. (PVC) is accredited by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) as a type •A• (totally independent) inspection Authority (registration number LVUP 070) for the Manufacturing as well as In-Service inspection of Pressure Equipment.


The accreditation was done in accordance with the requirements of the (OHS) Occupational Health and Safety act, act 85 of 1993 as amended and the South African National Standards (SANS 10227): Code of Practice for the Evaluation of the Technical competency of Inspection Authorities for the certification of vessels under pressure.


PVC is registered with the Department of Labour (DoL 066) as well as with the Department of Mineral and Energy (DME 038) to perform inspections for and on their behalf.
